CANADIANS braced themselves this weekend as Hurricane Fiona barrelled its way to Nova Scotia with winds of 205km/h.
The powerful Category 3 storm buffeted Bermuda on Friday, leaving thousands without power and fearing coastal damage as it slid past the Atlantic island.
About 928 000 homes and businesses were still without power in Puerto Rico after Fiona hit last Sunday. |
