FATAL CHURCH STAMPEDE

AT LEAST 29 people, including 11 children and a pregnant woman, have died in a stampede at a Christian crusade in a densely populated area in the Libyan capital, Monrovia. Police said worshippers in New Kru Town were attacked on Wednesday night by “criminals coming with knives”, which created chaos and led to a stampede.
