Food for thought: snack plant and assets on offer

BIDDERS Choice will be holding an online auction of the assets of RNT Snacks (in liquidation). The bids open on October 25 at 8am and close on October 28 from 11am.

Snack-food manufacturing plant equipment and machinery will be on offer, including eight Qualitechs rotary tables with conveyers; six Qualitechs packaging machines; two Egli FFS 1 packaging machines; seven coating pans; extruders; hopper; fryers; popcorn poppers; an Ingersoll Rand air dryer; a compressor and a receiving tank.

Among the vehicles to come under the hammer are a 2005 Toyota Corolla 140i GLE and a 2004 Isuzu FRR 500 freighter closed-body truck.

The office furniture includes swivel and stacking chairs and filing cabinets

Viewing is on October 21, 22 and 25 from 9am to 3pm at 18 Steenbras Road, Athlone Industrial 2.
