The Death and Life of Marsha P Johnson (Netfix)
When you think of the Stonewall Uprising of 1969, you think about Marsha P Johnson, one of the queer icons involved in the uprising at the Stonewall Inn in New York, which lead to Pride parades for LGBTQ+ rights. The documentary tries to find the answers to Johnson’s death after Gay Pride in 1992. Johnson’s death is quickly dismissed as a “suicide”.
