CAPTIVE STUDENTS FREED

THE remaining 27 students kidnapped almost two weeks ago from a forestry college in the northern Nigerian state of Kaduna have been freed. According to multiple media sources, they were among 39 students seized from their dormitories at Greenfield University by armed criminal gangs. This was the fifth attack of its kind with more than 600 students abducted in country since December. An increase in such attacks has forced the closure of many schools and institutions in the north. | African News Agency (ANA)
