FAST-TRACK GBV BILLS

President Cyril Ramaphosa has called on Parliament to fast-track three Bills that were aimed at clamping down against gender-based violence (GVB) in the country. The government has made a number of interventions to fight against GBV, he told the National Assembly on Thursday. Ramaphosa said they wanted to remove all the obstacles in the fight against GBV and the government would work with the National Prosecuting Authority to help the SAPS to speed up cases. | Political Bureau
