Equipment and tools go on sale

WESTERN Cape Auctioneers will be holding two online auctions soon, one of catering equipment and the other engineering tools and equipment.

First up are the assets of a sports pub and bar. There are about 160 lots, including catering equipment, glassware and promotional items. The auction starts tomorrow at 11am and ends on Wednesday.

The second sale will start on May 17 at 11am and end on May 20. Items include a 6m shipping container; power and air tools; garage equipment; gearbox and engine hoists; a 50 ton hydraulic press and a TIG welder.

“A magnificent and interesting online auction awaits potential buyers. We got a mandate to sell the assets of a deceased estate which were locked away in a shipping container. There are more than 300 lots of equipment and tools,” the auction house says.

Viewing is 9am to 4pm weekdays between 9am and 4pm at their facility at Joostenberg Farm.
