FEWER AMG MODELS

MERCEDES-AMG’S new boss Philipp Schiemer said at the IAA Munich motor show last week that the performance division would likely have to scale down its model range, Autocar reports. This comes as the company accelerates its electrification strategy, with MercedesAMG having pulled the covers off its first all-electric model at the German show. Mercedes-AMG will concentrate on its higher-end models in future, while reducing its presence at the lower end of the market.
