Biggs brought joy to many readers

YOUR edition on Monday (November 29), “Iconic Cape Argus columnist David Biggs calls it a day”, refers.

I am writing specifically to thank David Biggs for dedicating almost 60 years of his life to bringing joy to many, many readers.

I have always read his column and more often than not it brought a smile to my face. We will certainly miss his column, but our love for the Karoo is now deeply ingrained in us after reading those many columns about the peaceful farm and the neighbourhood.
