Miss SA should represent herself and not the country

IT is absolutely appalling that we can allow the present Miss South Africa to represent our country in Israel. Absolutely appalling. She has of course recourse to represent herself which is an alternative, but not under our flag. Certainly not.

But what does it say about her as a Black South African. Her colour represents the hurt and harm and sorrow and humiliation endured by people of colour during the evil era of apartheid in our country. Suffered by her very parents and fellow South Africans.

She certainly has to be reminded, if not told in no uncertain terms, that wanting to go ahead with showing us the finger is not only disrespectful but certainly downright unacceptably UnSouth African.
