MP’S KILLING ‘WAS RANDOM’

UK MEDIA outlets have reported that the suspect behind Tory MP Sir David Amess’s murder was plotting to kill any UK politician, and that the 69-year-old MP was stabbed to death “at random”. The suspect, Ali Harbi Ali, 25, a British national of Somali heritage, reportedly was radicalised after he watched videos of convicted Islamist hate preacher Anjem Choudary. Ali was referred to a UK counter-terrorism programme, but was not believed to be extreme enough to alert British intelligence. |
