WORLD Space Week, celebrated internationally from October 4 to 10, saw many South African pupils engage in the I-Innovate programme, which linked them to experiments aboard the International Space Station through the ExoLab programme. “It’s the world’s largest space event with activities in 95 countries. We wanted to give South African children the opportunity to join in this celebration of science and technology,” said Trisha Crookes of I-Innovate. |
